Yes, thank you.

00:01:53 Merrily

Thank you. Me too. Yeah. I like, I I, you know, I chatted a little bit before, you know, I loved your video. I happened upon it. I think you had just ended at a live.

00:02:04 Merrily

Stream.

00:02:05 Merrily

And it was like the rhythms.

00:02:07 Merrily

Of life and navigating change with conscious language. And it's about all kind of stuff that I'm super into, which is like kind of, you know.

00:02:15

Like.

00:02:16 Merrily

Like what you say is kind of like casting like a magical spell of your and shaping your reality and stuff like that. I was like, so.

00:02:23 Merrily

Cool.

00:02:24 Merrily

And then you had another one that was cool, but I watched immediately after. I think it's called active listening to your inner voice. It was just really good.

00:02:31 Paul

Ohh yeah yeah.

00:02:36 Merrily

It was so good. Yeah. So all your content is great. Like, very positive. You put them in nice digestible chunks and like. Yeah, I really love it.

00:02:46 Merrily

So thank you, yeah.

00:02:47 Paul

Awesome feedback. Thank you so much for that.

00:02:50 Merrily

Yeah, of course.

00:02:50 Paul

Oh yeah.

00:02:52 Paul

Awesome. I was so happy to get your note when you said that, I said that's cool. Someone someone's you know because I put it out there. I'm here and here's it.

00:02:59 Merrily

I know.

00:03:01 Paul

You know, I was, it's it's it's really cool how everything aligns.

00:03:07 Paul

Like and that that was really cool really.

00:03:07 Speaker 3

Yeah.

00:03:09 Merrily

Yeah, no problem. Yeah.

00:03:09 Paul

Cool.

00:03:12 Merrily

My pleasure. And. And so we're you know, we kind of just kind of get into stuff here, so.

00:03:19 Paul

Well.

00:03:20 Paul

And I just want to pronounce your name is.

00:03:21 Merrily

Merrilee. Yeah, that's merely just like merilee. Yeah.

00:03:25 Paul

Nice. All right, fresh.

00:03:26 Merrily

Thank you.

00:03:27 Paul

Yeah. You're welcome.

00:03:29 Merrily

So we're we generally tend to start so folks can kind of get an idea from where you're coming from is was there a pivotal moment in your life that shapes who you are and all the wonderful things that you're doing today?

00:03:46 Paul

I know you get. I know you gave me a heads up on the question and I'm like, I just blanked. But.

00:03:51 Merrily

OK, no, no worries.

00:03:53 Paul

Well, you know what it was it was. It was a. It was a. It was choosing between a couple of different instances. One was like the childhood one. Like I was for like, you know, parents got separated. I didn't know what to do, what happened. But really the the the event was.

00:03:57 Speaker 4

Hmm.

00:04:05 Merrily

Yeah.

00:04:11 Paul

The day my divorce got finalized.

00:04:16 Paul

That was bananas for me, merrily because.

00:04:19 Speaker 3

Yeah.

00:04:21 Paul

It was like it was. It was this. It was like I entered a whole other realm because I had I gotten divorced, and I had been living this, this, this part of myself that said, I'm supposed to get married. I had a kid. I had literally the the house on the corner with this. It was wood stained. It wasn't white.

00:04:39 Speaker 3

Right.

00:04:42 Paul

And it was wood stain and stuff. So I had all that and it it didn't work. It was failing to work for me.

00:04:45 Merrily

Wow.

00:04:50 Paul

And I left and it was like a lot, even through the divorce process, a lot of the things like, I was working through and the anger and stuff. It was like it all come to this final moment where I remember walking outside of the courthouse. And I was just like.

00:04:51 Paul

Hmm.

00:05:07 Paul

What?

00:05:09 Paul

What am I? What do I do now?

00:05:12 Merrily

Yeah.

00:05:13 Paul

Things like rebuilding a life from scratch with like.

00:05:17 Paul

It wasn't even like I was a newborn and I had a blank slate. I was like.

00:05:19 Paul

Ohh junk. I got all this stuff.

00:05:22 Paul

Oh man, like, you know, it wasn't like I was a free, clean slate. So it was. It was really. That was the point for me. That was the point that really changed. Things shifted.

00:05:26 Merrily

Hmm.

00:05:32 Paul

It, yeah.

00:05:34 Merrily

Yeah, definitely that that's such a.

00:05:36 Merrily

I love how you explain that because it's just like, yeah, who are you at?

00:05:40 Merrily

This point like.

00:05:43 Merrily

Like who?

00:05:43 Paul

Yeah, it's, it's, you know that's that's one of the reasons I love. I love doing what I do and working with men and especially with people that go through life change because.

00:05:53 Paul

If they're anything like me, I I thought that it was like the story's supposed to end a certain way.

00:05:59 Merrily

Hmm.

00:06:00 Paul

And when the story failed to end, like how I thought it was supposed to, I was. I was like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum, an adult version, you know, like, you know, instead of, like, just throwing my hands all over the place and going against the ground. I go to a bar and get banged up drunk.

00:06:09 Speaker 3

And.

00:06:17 Merrily

MHM.

00:06:18 Paul

You know, it was just like it was. It was.

00:06:21 Paul

Yeah, it was a very interesting time. For years after that.

00:06:24 Speaker 3

Wow.

00:06:25 Paul

Yeah.

00:06:26 Merrily

So what would you say like so you have this experience, so and then you're trying to figure out what to do next? Like what? Like, was there something that, like a, like a book that you saw or, you know, something that made you go? Maybe I'll try that, you know.

00:06:50 Paul

What?

00:06:55 Paul

It was a couple of them.

00:06:58 Paul

It was the four agreements.

00:07:01 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:07:02 Paul

At the time.

00:07:08 Paul

And.

00:07:10 Paul

I'm trying to think of the name of the book, but it was like.

00:07:14 Paul

Leadership and self tactics.

00:07:18 Merrily

Hmm.

00:07:19 Paul

But basically what it was it was it was. It was a book about how we perceive our situations.

00:07:27 Paul

So it was like very it was timely that I that I read that book and that it was suggested to me because it had me really.

00:07:35 Merrily

Mm-hmm.

00:07:38 Paul

Settle into like. Well. What? What? How am I seeing this? You know what I mean? It was like that book. And there's another book that's escape escaping me.

00:07:43 Merrily

Yeah.

00:07:51 Paul

It'll it'll come to me. It was like.

00:07:54 Paul

Yeah, I know it was those two books and.

00:07:59 Paul

I'm thinking like, well book that's coming to mind is outwitting the devil, like around that time. Yeah, it actually was because I remember that's when I was, it was it talked about something called a hypnotic rhythm. And it talked about the ways that we distract ourselves and that we and our and our hypnotic rhythm is like being on task.

00:08:03

Oh.

00:08:18 Paul

Like focusing like I'm I'm like, so focused and drawn into my what I'm what I'm my intention is that I'm in a rhythm. Like there's nothing that's going to take me off of my game and it can go either way. So I remember when I read that at the time, that was like a that was a very interesting thing for me. That was like, oh, man. So I wonder if I can.

00:08:38 Paul

Put my mindset on getting the hell out of this cause this, this, this sucks. It sucks. You know what I mean? I was like.

00:08:44 Merrily

Yeah.

00:08:46 Paul

Oh my God. Yeah, it was terrible.

00:08:48 Merrily

Wow. Yeah, I've never heard of that book. It sounds really. I like how you kind of, like, encapsulated that. It's just like you can either be sort of in a hypnotic.

00:09:00 Merrily

Or, you know, hypnotic state of doing what you want to do, or you're in some other something else, yeah.

00:09:09 Paul

Exactly, exactly. And I needed that at the time because I was.

00:09:13 Paul

Like.

00:09:13 Paul

I was struggling like I was having suicidal thoughts like I was like, why I'm here like I was like.

00:09:16

Yeah.

00:09:18 Merrily

Hmm.

00:09:19 Paul

It was rough, it was rough.

00:09:21 Merrily

Well, I'm glad. I'm glad you found. Found that and you're here and that's wonderful.

00:09:28 Merrily

So.

00:09:30 Paul

I made it.

00:09:31 Merrily

Yes, you made it.

00:09:32 Paul

Yeah, I'm so happy. I yeah, I'm so happy I came through.

00:09:35 Merrily

Yeah. And I know I saw, I think one of your like I saw I've seen quite a few of your videos, I think you had mentioned that you like you liked Napoleon Hill too. And I know there's a lot of really good similar type of things in his writings and.

00:09:51 Merrily

That kind of stuff too.

00:09:51 Paul

Napoleon Hill is.

00:09:53 Paul

Have you? Have you ever think and grow rich?

00:09:55 Merrily

Yes, I have read or actually I have the audiobook. I listened to the audiobook very good.

00:09:59 Paul

Ohh that's even better. Ohh I see. Even better. I like the audio like I I'm I just started getting into audio books right? So it's like I'm now I'm listening to I'm like oh, this is nice. So like in the car and then like if I want to get the book I can I can read I can listen along and read and then like keep notes and things. But yeah, that's such a great book on so many levels.

00:10:06 Merrily

Mm-hmm.

00:10:11 Merrily

Yeah.

00:10:17 Speaker 3

Yeah.

00:10:22 Paul

So many levels. It's like for people that are listening. If you have yet to read it, please do read it like audio.

00:10:28 Paul

Work.

00:10:29 Paul

It's it's a game changer.

00:10:32 Merrily

Yeah, it's really good. It has a lot. Now I know like, you know, you say what the title is and then people are like, oh, that sounds really materialistic. And I'm like, OK, come on. Yeah. There's that part of it. But there's like this.

00:10:48 Merrily

The the foundations of it is like very applicable to so many things in your life like.

00:10:54 Merrily

Yeah.

00:10:55 Paul

And I I got to tell you, Marley, that was my freaking first reaction when.

00:10:59 Paul

I heard about the book.

00:11:01 Paul

I was like, man, that's such money shadow. I was like, I was like a black kid growing up in an affluent white town, like living in an apartment. All my siblings and stuff and going.

00:11:12 Merrily

Hello.

00:11:12 Paul

To his house, it's like.

00:11:13 Paul

Hello. Hello. Hello. Are you? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hello.

00:11:21 Paul

That like.

00:11:23 Paul

Yeah. So I had a lot of money sales. So I first heard about the book I was like.

00:11:27 Paul

Then he was, like, read it like, just like how you just described. He was like, there's so much more in there and really, like thinking back. Well, I mean.

00:11:32 Merrily

Yeah.

00:11:36 Paul

This book was written in like the 19 tens, 1920s or something like this. So like riches to them was so much more.

00:11:45 Paul

It was like influence. It was, it was. I mean, it was land. It was enterprise. It was more than a dollar bill. It was like ideas having riches and ideas and and so many different things. And how we harness all this. That was the thing that really got me about the.

00:12:05 Paul

Look like you and and that's the key to abundance, right. And that's the key to.

00:12:09 Paul

Quote UN quote riches as being able to take all of our skills, stay focused, be free of distractions and really and really hunker down and get what you want. Like it's an energetic piece.

00:12:19 Merrily

Yeah, yeah. Beautifully explains. Yeah, everybody listen to Paul on. OK, well, I think it's just wonderful cause it's like perfect.

00:12:30 Paul

Listen, I'm telling you, it's a it's a. Everyone's like, hey, you have some books to recommend? I.

00:12:34 Paul

Was like Yup.

00:12:36 Paul

They can grow rich. I wouldn't devil. And seven spiritual. Yeah, seven spiritual law.

00:12:41 Paul

Us and the power path and also the four agreements. Ohh. I'm gonna take off one. I'm gonna take off the power path. I'm gonna put heel down, man. Method book up there. I gotta put my book up there. I'm stepping into, like, accepting that I actually wrote this. Yeah.

00:12:46 Merrily

Nice.

00:12:52 Speaker 3

Oh, that's great.

00:12:55 Merrily

Yes, of course.

00:12:59 Merrily

Yeah, it's been killed.

00:13:01 Paul

Cool. Thank you.

00:13:03 Merrily

Yeah, it's a big deal. I'm glad you put your work out there. It's so it's so much hard work. And like. Yeah, I'm glad you put your ideas together. So that's amazing.

00:13:13 Paul

Thank you.

00:13:14 Merrily

Yeah. So in addition to sort of like books that you read, were there any, did you have any support or guidance along your path or?

00:13:27 Paul

I love this question.

00:13:31 Paul

I had. I had a good amount of guides, seen and unseen.

00:13:34 Merrily

Hmm.

00:13:35 Paul

So.

00:13:37 Paul

People may be like what? But I think you'll be, yeah, so.

00:13:41 Merrily

I know.

00:13:44 Paul

So I mean, I've had like, my men's groups like I took. I got a I I went to this thing called the New World training adventure with the Mankind Project.

00:13:53 Paul

May will actually be ten years ago.

00:13:56 Paul

And that was a great way to support because as a as a guy I didn't, I had yet to know what it was like to get support from other guys like authentic, like accountable support. But that was like a great learning experience for me. So they've been great support as I was navigating and going through a lot of like sticky.

00:14:15 Paul

Stuff and I'm. I practice shamanism, so being able to go into realms and see my spirit guides go see ancestors and I'm a plant. I do plant medicine as well. So that gives me the opportunity to really again go to different realms, Connect with source the all.

00:14:36 Paul

And really get.

00:14:37 Paul

To understand what's really happening. So that's been a big support, especially when I was going through like when I was going through some things and I was able to understand that we're all connected, we're all.

00:14:48 Paul

One like it's about frequencies. Things like this. That's when things really started to shift for me. So that was that was like a very powerful guide. Those things together really helped me out big time.

00:15:02 Merrily

Yeah, for sure. Wow. Yeah, that sounds so cool. Like, I like that you've kind of reached out and found another community of men to kind of help you out. And it's funny because I was thinking like.

00:15:13 Merrily

Yeah, especially when you're younger. Yeah, I'm speaking for myself, too. And but, you know, maybe some of the friends that you had weren't, like, super.

00:15:21 Merrily

Supportive. You know what?

00:15:22 Paul

I mean, Yup. Yup. I know exactly what you mean and. And it's tough to really know until you go through it. Like, look back at that. Ohh damn.

00:15:29 Merrily

Yes.

00:15:31 Merrily

Yeah.

00:15:32 Speaker 3

Ohh.

00:15:34 Paul

That guy, you know what I mean? Like, man, I gotta cut.

00:15:35 Merrily

Yeah. Yeah. And I love that. You also talked about your unseen guides as well because you know, I we talked a lot about that here on casual temple because, you know, sometimes people don't have in, in person people, they can go to. But there is just like a whole realm of.

00:15:55 Merrily

Unseen people and ancestors that are waiting for you to.

00:16:00 Merrily

Get a hold of them.

00:16:01 Paul

Yeah. Yeah. Thank yeah. Thank you for bringing that. And that's what that's why that's one of the reasons I was really excited to be be on this. Uh on this podcast with you and cause the temple because looking at the content I was like, oh, shoot, I could really. I can.

00:16:14 Paul

Really, just let.

00:16:15 Paul

Go, you know.

00:16:16 Merrily

What I mean?

00:16:16 Paul

Like you're talking about stuff like. You know, that's really been a support for me because.

00:16:20 Merrily

Yeah.

00:16:21 Paul

Well, unfortunately, like, unfortunately, most people have yet to really accept that these are available to us. Like you know, I lost my, my, my not lost. But like my mom and dad have passed their transition.

00:16:32 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:16:33 Paul

So in a lot of ways like I'm still connected to them in spirit and I get guidance from them too. So you know it's it's very it's very key for people to recognize that that's that's something that's available to us in, in a big way.

00:16:46 Merrily

Yeah. Beautiful. Yeah. Thank you for sharing that.

00:16:51 Merrily

So what would you?

00:16:52 Merrily

Say you know.

00:16:54 Merrily

I know we talked about you have so much that you're doing, but if you were to tell somebody what your sort of path either be it a spiritual path or your, you know, your moral or life path or what, how would you?

00:17:07 Merrily

Explain what your path looks like today with somebody.

00:17:11 Paul

Yeah, that's a great question. I'm, I would say I'm on a path to create a heart full culture of purpose driven men.

00:17:21 Merrily

Awesome.

00:17:21 Paul

That vibrate authentically in their body, in their mind, and in their spirit. And that's really done through education, like being a teacher, being a facilitator, and being a shift starter. You know, like, like I, you know.

00:17:40 Paul

People are going to shift when they.

00:17:42 Paul

Come around me. So I that's.

00:17:43 Paul

Like.

00:17:44 Paul

It's what it is. You know, shift happens so.

00:17:48 Paul

I I and and the reason being is because like for for a lot of years I've I've really honed in on creating space and like after doing my work, I recognize that the reason I'm so passionate about creating space is because I I went, I was really sad and lonely as a kid and I I just felt like I didn't belong. So I always wanted to make sure I created.

00:18:05

Hmm.

00:18:09 Paul

Bases that for people that they always felt that they're a home, like they had a place to.

00:18:13 Paul

So a place to feel welcome to be heard. So, like, that's been a lot of my work. And you know, I'm.

00:18:22 Paul

You know when you said, you know, you're doing a lot of things. I was like, I'm working on that like, because like, I love doing a lot of things. Like, I'm especially I'm. I'm learning about this like, human design. I'm a manifesting generator. So I'm like, learning about all these things. And I'm like.

00:18:35 Paul

Ohh bless all.

00:18:42 Merrily

Yeah.

00:18:43 Paul

Ohh my gosh, that's.

00:18:46 Paul

That makes sense, right? So. So I'm learning to harness like, you know, I'll have ideas and I'll just like write them down and then like, OK, what am I going with, you know, to be rigid? No. And then, like, I'd be all upset. Like, if things like fell by the wayside. But that's.

00:18:47 Merrily

MM.

00:18:58 Paul

Yeah.

00:19:04 Paul

Like my nature.

00:19:04 Paul

Like.

00:19:05 Speaker 3

Yep.

00:19:07 Paul

You know what I mean?

00:19:08 Paul

Like, that's what.

00:19:08 Merrily

Yeah.

00:19:11 Merrily

Ohh my gosh.

00:19:13 Paul

Yes, whole new world for me right now. Hold on.

00:19:15 Merrily

Yeah.

00:19:16 Paul

So I'm excited about that.

00:19:18 Merrily

Yeah, I'm glad not what we're going to derail on on a human design or anything, but yeah, definitely. But yeah, it's something I heard about like a couple years ago, like a friend of mine had mentioned mentioned it in the message board or something. And I was like what you know.

00:19:23 Paul

Look, look. Hey, we see I'm all here. I'm here for it.

00:19:37 Merrily

And then, but then recently I've been looking into it and Oh my goodness, like understanding, like manifesting generator energy.

00:19:44 Merrily

It took such a weight off of me because of the like. I have so many ideas. I have so many projects all at the.

00:19:50 Merrily

Same time just so.

00:19:54 Paul

It's wild, yes.

00:19:56 Paul

So do you ever have like the opportunity to to pause and and look at everything that you've done or that you're doing?

00:20:05 Merrily

You know, Paul, I think I've done that once, but when you just mentioned it, you know, I was like, I have not.

00:20:11 Merrily

Done that recently.

00:20:13 Merrily

But that's a great.

00:20:15 Paul

Point then, so the so quick story so.

00:20:22 Paul

I I'm I've been studying this book called the initiation of hermetics.

00:20:25 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:20:26 Paul

And it's like I'm at this point where it's talking about creating like, like in a cult mirror. Like, so I like, I had to write down like all these bad, like, quote UN quote negative traits and then like align them to a an element and then list like, what's most frequent, what's less frequent, so forth. Then the -3. No, no problem.

00:20:46 Paul

Get to the posit I'm like ohh junk.

00:20:50 Paul

Thank.

00:20:51 Paul

Ah.

00:20:53 Paul

I don't know, so I had to pause and like really think about this right and like I I put down productive and I was like man.

00:21:03 Paul

And I just got like this thought trail of like, what am I doing right?

00:21:06 Paul

Now and I was like oh oh.

00:21:09 Paul

Oh oh God. Ohh. Not another one. Like I started recognizing like Oh my goodness. Like I have like, I have the things that I'm following that I'm focused on like, you know, the main things. And then like, I find like, there's a lot of offshoots.

00:21:28 Paul

Yes.

00:21:28 Paul

Right, like these and whether their thoughts, but like what's happening with them? And I'm recognizing like?

00:21:35 Paul

OK, I need to I get to start pulling that in, or at least some of them in are cutting them because it's like if I fail to prune them or draw them in like it's gonna drain my energy.

00:21:40

Yeah.

00:21:45 Paul

So it's it's like it's a really interesting practice right now where I am in this part of the journey, it's really interesting.

00:21:45 Merrily

Yeah.

00:21:52 Merrily

That's beautiful. Yeah, I'm definitely as a great reminder to kind of pause and then reflect on like, actually do get stuff done, I.

00:22:02 Speaker 3

Yeah, you you know what I mean?

00:22:02 Paul

Do.

00:22:04 Paul

Right, exactly. Exactly.

00:22:08 Paul

Yeah, you gotta you gotta open up to that, like, right? Cause I thought I was. I was. I thought I was looking. I thought I was digging a whole bunch of shallow holes, right. Like. Ohh, let me say. But then I was like ohh junk. I did finish that. It may have taken a year versus like the month. I thought it could.

00:22:22 Merrily

Yep.

00:22:25 Paul

Take right and.

00:22:28 Paul

Then I got it done, you know? So I'm like, learning, I'm learning. I'm really getting there.

00:22:34 Merrily

I love it. Yeah. Thank you. Well, thanks for going down the human design.

00:22:39 Merrily

Manifesting generator route. That's awesome.

00:22:42 Paul

More excited about that?

00:22:43 Merrily

Me too. Uh.

00:22:45 Merrily

UM, so again. So I know, yeah. I talked about that. You like the Polian Hill, but a lot of your videos seem to incorporate new thought kind of ideas and concepts. And can you, if new thought is something that you follow, can you help the audience?

00:23:06 Merrily

Understand, sort of like what that's about.

00:23:09 Paul

Well, I was. I wanted to ask like, because I've heard new thought. But like when you say new thought is it like new age like?

00:23:15 Paul

What is that?

00:23:16 Merrily

Ohh OK. It's kind of like Nisha is kind of like Napoleon Hill, sort of like that sort of.

00:23:25 Merrily

Thinking or whatever it's around, sort of like your thoughts manifest or your thoughts kind of attract, right? So from what I got from your video, it seems like.

00:23:30 Paul

Oh.

00:23:34 Paul

Yes.

00:23:36 Paul

Yes. So I'm all about. I'm all. Yes, I'm new. Thought I'm. I'm. I'm all for it. I I yeah. So it's I would say.

00:23:39 Merrily

Yeah, well, yeah.

00:23:49 Paul

I'm I'm very much into rewiring.

00:23:52

Hmm.

00:23:54 Paul

Right. Like I I I get the transformation. I think the transformation is important and I think there's a distinction between transformation and rewiring.

00:24:05 Paul

So that's where a lot. That's where my intention is when it comes to when I'm doing those videos about words and how we're looking at things, how we talk to ourselves, parts work like internal family systems.

00:24:18 Paul

Looking at these types of things, to really see ourselves differently.

00:24:23 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:24:24 Paul

Because you know, I I there's there's a workshop I'm doing locally called stories.

00:24:31 Paul

And it's an opportunity for people to like, hey, tell me your story about life or love or loss.

00:24:38 Paul

Right, right in the eye. Well, I did thy eye eye and then like, OK, cool. Pause. We're gonna move around a little bit. Now rewrite that in.

00:24:45 Paul

The third person.

00:24:50 Paul

Now, OK, cool. Get now.

00:24:52 Paul

Go have this person read your story to you.

00:24:56 Paul

What do you hear?

00:24:59 Paul

And people are like.

00:25:01

Oh my God.

00:25:03 Paul

I did this. I I did. I wrote about this in the book, but I did this in a workshop and I saw this unravel real time.

00:25:09 Paul

Time.

00:25:11 Paul

And I recognize that when we're programmed.

00:25:15 Paul

Our thoughts, like our our capacity to create new thoughts diminishes right or not even diminishes. It turns off it like deactivates. So we like we go by a story, we're like, OK, you know, I did this, I did this, I did this. I did this. I did this. I did this.

00:25:25 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:25:34 Paul

Ohh what you wanna know? I'm this is. I'm this. I did this. I did this. I did this. I did this. It's like. And you can if you you know you when you talk. When you get to really know someone and you practice active listening you start to you're a person's story like and the stories we are the stories that we tell ourselves right. So when I talk like so the new thought is like OK well.

00:25:47 Speaker 3

Right.

00:25:55 Paul

Change this word and can you say this again? But reframe that. And then they're like.

00:26:01 Paul

Why does that feel different? Well, tell me. Like what? What do you feel? What do?

00:26:04 Paul

You feel. What do you sense?

00:26:05 Merrily

Yeah.

00:26:07 Paul

You know, and it's all brain works and that's why I think that like the the way that we speak and our thoughts like.

00:26:14 Paul

I I've been I've been very particular about words that I say I'm I'm practicing this right when we I'm. I'm one of the facilitators for some. For a a circle of men of color called the Brotherhood of Kings.

00:26:28 Paul

And like one of the things I'll say in our checking is instead of like, hey, how you feeling to man? I'm like, hey, what are you sensing?

00:26:36 Paul

Because our brain takes in from all of our senses, The thing is, is that we the brain stores it all because we we use a small fraction of of of this, this this thing here, right.

00:26:48 Paul

So it's collecting a lot of data. So what is it pulled to? It's pulled to whatever our story or aligns to our story.

00:26:56 Paul

Right. So we begin to see and perceive and even hear things a certain way when we start to like for example, I think the video that you saw was when I was talking to people about I am versus I am experiencing.

00:27:10 Merrily

Mm-hmm.

00:27:11 Paul

I say I am because people like I am this. I am this. They're doing it on one end with something positive and they're also doing it on the same end with something negative. I'm so stupid. I'm this. I'm broke. I'm this right? No, but I'm.

00:27:21 Merrily

Hey.

00:27:26 Paul

Abundant in this? And then we're we're confusing ourselves with short circuit.

00:27:30 Paul

Right. So now instead, if I'm like, I'm experiencing some cash flow issues?

00:27:36 Paul

Because you even saying that saying brother, that I'm broke, I got to come into my mind and thinking well.

00:27:42 Paul

I know I'm other than broke, So what am I?

00:27:46 Paul

Ohh well, I'm actually experiencing cash flow issues cause I get paid next week. Great.

00:27:51 Paul

Right. Like I'm so stupid. Well, actually, I'm experiencing absent mindedness because I knew the answer to that. I was just caught off guard.

00:27:59 Speaker 3

Umm.

00:28:01 Paul

You know what I'm saying? So you know all of a sudden we start to. Really.

00:28:02 Merrily

Yeah.

00:28:07 Paul

Adjust how we're even seeing things. That's why I like even words like getting rid of the words. But and should no shoulding like think. Yeah. Yeah. Stop shoulding on yourself. What I mean.

00:28:13 Merrily

No shooting.

00:28:18 Speaker 4

I'm seeing like.

00:28:19 Paul

If you act to listen to people.

00:28:21 Paul

Yeah, people will say should like it's they're breathing air.

00:28:29 Merrily

Mm-hmm.

00:28:30 Paul

It's bananas. Like, just listen.

00:28:32 Merrily

It.

00:28:35 Paul

To like.

00:28:37 Paul

How people talk and like.

00:28:40 Paul

I was just sort of new thought. It talked about infinite intelligence.

00:28:44 Paul

When we start damaging or when we start talking negatively about ourselves.

00:28:49 Paul

We're turning off our receptivity to something divine and great.

00:28:55 Merrily

Wow. Yeah. Oh, totally, yeah.

00:28:56 Paul

That's all I'm saying.

00:28:59 Paul

So it's so important that we that we look at and and pay attention to the words that we speak.

00:29:06 Merrily

MHM.

00:29:07 Paul

Because they are spells.

00:29:09 Merrily

Yeah, yeah.

00:29:10 Paul

You know it's.

00:29:13 Merrily

Yeah.

00:29:14 Paul

Yeah.

00:29:15 Merrily

I don't even like.

00:29:18 Merrily

So like if I'm going to go, I don't like parties.

00:29:21 Merrily

By the way, but I'm going.

00:29:21 Merrily

To use this as.

00:29:22 Merrily

An example I'm going to go to a party, but before I go to the party one I'm I'll and you know I'm going to have a wonderful time and to meet new people, I'm going to, you know, you know, all these things cool or oh man.

00:29:25 Speaker 3

MHM.

00:29:38 Speaker 3

I really don't want to go.

00:29:39 Merrily

To this party, why did I even?

00:29:41 Speaker 3

Though.

00:29:42 Merrily

You know, I'm gonna have a terrible time.

00:29:46 Merrily

But even then, like even before I get to the state of even going to the party, I, you know, the thing about shooting right, where was it? Where did I agree to something that I didn't even want?

00:29:56 Merrily

To do in the first, you know.

00:30:01 Paul

Yeah. Like, what brings me here.

00:30:03 Merrily

Yes. Yeah. What brings me here, but then now I'm here. And then so I have. I'm going to this party, but I'm casting the spell of, like, I'm going to have a wonderful time. Or am I casting the spell that I'm going to go in?

00:30:15 Merrily

And have a miserable time.

00:30:18 Paul

Yeah, that is so funky. Yeah, cause.

00:30:24 Paul

So I'm like hearing this right and like what's coming to mind is, like, really both of these are being said.

00:30:31 Merrily

Hmm.

00:30:32 Paul

Because like and This is why this is. This is something that I get jammed up. Yeah, I do get jammed up about this with the spiritual community. Now, that's.

00:30:37

No.

00:30:40 Merrily

Hmm.

00:30:42 Paul

Is that you know, there's so much thing on like you gotta speak positive. You gotta speak positive. You got to bring this. And The thing is, is we're failing to address the root. So like we're saying this, but the root is like such your ***** up. You lying mother Hoohah. You know you're not this you know you want to be home watching Netflix.

00:30:48 Merrily

MMM.

00:31:02 Paul

You know you wanna chill right now. You don't wanna be here. You don't. Don't tell me. You know what I mean. Like, this thing is completely resisting this.

00:31:07 Merrily

Yeah.

00:31:10 Speaker 3

Mm-hmm.

00:31:11 Paul

So I'm I'm saying it's like rather like letting both live and be like I'm going to go and be present.

00:31:17 Merrily

Yeah, yeah.

00:31:18 Paul

You know what I mean that.

00:31:20 Paul

Yeah.

00:31:21 Paul

Whatever is there is there.

00:31:25 Merrily

Awesome. I like that.

00:31:27 Merrily

Like that.

00:31:29 Paul

Get something to be present, like you know what, you, your presence. You may hear some fresh song and you be like, yo, I'm going to use that for the podcast. That duck is fresh.

00:31:38 Merrily

Like like.

00:31:41 Merrily

Yes.

00:31:43 Paul

Ah.

00:31:44 Merrily

That's perfect.

00:31:48 Merrily

So I think this is some it kind of goes together. I feel with what you're saying, but I one of your videos you mentioned.

00:31:57 Merrily

And I don't know if you put it this way, but my question was or is, why is it important for us as human beings to understand that we're energy? So you kind of talk about that, I feel, yeah.

00:32:13 Paul

I'm. I'm gonna breathe on that one, yeah.

00:32:19 Paul

Yeah.

00:32:22 Paul

It's hit me because before with this I did a podcast recording. We were talking about chakras.

00:32:29

Perfect.

00:32:30 Paul

Yeah, right.

00:32:32 Paul

The secret 22.

00:32:36 Paul

Come on, man. What? Anywho, back. Back, back, back. And with the with the podcast center coming to is that we are all energy. And I was talking about how when our chakras are off, it's also aligned with different energetic bodies that surround our physical.

00:32:39 Paul

Yeah.

00:32:55 Paul

So when we have something that maybe is going on with our heart chakra, like our seed of balance and and giving and receiving and boundaries and holiness and love.

00:33:07 Paul

That is represented in our in one of our our outer or energetic bodies. Now, when we intermix and mingle with other people, it's like when you go to a party and you're like, oh, that vibe I'm getting from that person's off.

00:33:22 Paul

But you, but most people would be like, oh, I'm just being foolish, when in reality your energetic bodies was like no son.

00:33:29 Paul

Back up. Ohh like I'm trying to tell you man that no, that person is no good for you.

00:33:31 Merrily

Yes.

00:33:35 Merrily

Yeah.

00:33:37 Paul

Right. So like people get to understand like our energies know, right, or and sometimes even in relationships like if we have yet to address certain trauma, that trauma that's caught in our energetic bodies will attract the meat that is in alignment with that.

00:33:53 Paul

So you know that's what that's to me. I think that's important. So very understanding that we are energy, we are frequencies, you know, it's just like we you know, it's like one of the things is like meditation and like visualization and really envisioning yourself in that because you start to change a person can change their frequency.

00:34:14 Paul

Now all of a sudden, rather than going to chase something, you're attracting it because you're aligned to it.

00:34:19 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:34:20 Paul

People start to understand like and it could go either way. It's like, look, it's it's a spectrum. You got good energy, you got bad energy. I'm not. You know, I'm free of being a judge, you know? I'm just like, I'm just noticing what's there.

00:34:32 Merrily

Yeah.

00:34:33 Paul

Thing is is that.

00:34:35 Paul

Everything is energy, right? Like and. And the more we can recognize that the energy that we put out is also what we're going to attract.

00:34:44 Paul

It's like if we we also get to recognize that if we're tracking a certain energy, then that means it lives in us in a way too.

00:34:51 Paul

That's what's the importance about people doing more energetic work because while it's bringing you something, it's also cleaning a person out in a lot of ways.

00:35:00 Merrily

Right.

00:35:01 Merrily

Beautiful, yeah.

00:35:04 Merrily

Explained very well. Thank you, Paul. Yeah.

00:35:06 Paul

Thanks.

00:35:09 Paul

Yeah. Thanks for asking the question. It's a great question.

00:35:12 Merrily

Yeah.

00:35:14 Merrily

So I I'm pretty sure this relates to your book, but can you tell us more about your book heal by man method and kind of what what's all with that?

00:35:24 Paul

Yeah.

00:35:27 Paul

I'm so proud of that book. Proud of myself. Will finishing it. So it all started. I mean, like I knew I was gonna write a book. I I put the goal out there to write the book in 2021. I failed to do it. So I got the support of my men's group and I and I actually used one of Napoleon Hill's tactics and thinking grow rich sex transmutation.

00:35:29 Merrily

Ah.

00:35:48 Paul

So I went on a I I don't know if I'm Christian, but I did something called **** Disciple.

00:35:55 Merrily

OK, I think I heard of this actually.

00:35:55

Right.

00:35:57 Paul

Yeah, it was like news like, you know, there was like there was no physical sex and really no ***********. So I was able to harness a lot of that creativity to create the book. And it's really interesting because as I go back, like when I did the audio book and when I was reading through it, I was like, I remember writing this.

00:36:03 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:36:15 Paul

So I knew that some of the book was like from somewhere else, so not even somewhere else. But like within me and like those guys that was telling you.

00:36:18 Speaker 3

Uh-huh.

00:36:24 Paul

No.

00:36:25 Paul

So like I really created the book because like you know, I'm I'm like, I'm experiencing parental alienation for my son. So, like, my relationship was that with them is strange. So, umm my my thing is is like, you know, I lost my dad, my lost. But like my dad passed when I was 24. So when I got older, I was like God, I wish I had. I wish she was here.

00:36:46 Paul

I wish I just. I wish I knew his thoughts on this and that. So I thought about that with my sons. Like if something were to happen and like and they're older and they don't know. Like, here's, here's some.

00:36:56 Paul

Methods and I created the book not to be like, hey man, you gotta do it like this. No, it's about a man finding themselves. So I really. I wrote it in three sections. I wrote. The first section is called step into the arena.

00:37:09 Paul

And it's about facing the greatest opponents you've ever faced yourself. Like, so looking at your stories, your patterns like the roots of all your stuff.

00:37:18 Paul

And then I did another the second section about mastering your mojo. So this is where, you know, I talked a lot about.

00:37:26 Paul

Taking the violence of sex and turning it into more creativity, weapon into a wand. Talked about the words that we talk and speak to ourselves. I also talked about really stepping into unknown.

00:37:38 Paul

And then the the third section is called rising to your king. It's about really tapping into sovereign energy building and creating support for goal for goals and purpose, creating mission and purpose. Purpose statement.

00:37:52 Paul

So the book is really to help.

00:37:56 Paul

I used to be like, oh, it's for men. But like, I've been getting feedback from women that damn Paul. Like, this is like this chapter, this chapter, this chapter, this chapter all applied to me. It's like, you know, the whole book applied except for the stuff about the Lingam and the peanuts.

00:38:06 Merrily

MHM.

00:38:11 Paul

Yeah, yeah, I skipped that. It's really a book about self-awareness and and it's a book about really connecting to self in a way to be free of judgment finally and to really see yourself and and see your glory and and really acknowledge your different parts.

00:38:28 Paul

Because merely, I think, like one of the things that someone gave me, his feedback, that I'm glad. Glad it came during the book.

00:38:35 Paul

I want people understand that they can be free of judgment to really understand that some of the things they think are the darkest about themselves may be the best part of themselves.

00:38:46 Paul

Like.

00:38:46 Speaker 3

Oh.

00:38:47 Paul

There's like something you know. They talk about the will of grief. Like, are you willing to go deep enough into grief or your darkness or the murkiness to get the gold?

00:39:01 Paul

Thinking.

00:39:01 Paul

Getting cold. There's gold in there. But The thing is most.

00:39:05 Paul

People running like I don't.

00:39:06 Speaker 4

Want to deal with that stuff? No, no, I.

00:39:08 Paul

Don't know when.

00:39:09 Paul

And then.

00:39:10 Paul

They finally do. They're like, oh, my God, this has been here the whole time.

00:39:16

Oh.

00:39:17 Paul

You know, so yeah.

00:39:17 Speaker 3

Ooh.

00:39:19 Merrily

Wow. Yeah. I was like, as you're describing your book, I'm like, yeah, sounds like a great book. I'm gonna have to. I'm gonna have to get it and read it. Cause it sounds amazing.

00:39:28 Paul

I've been getting great feedback. Yeah, I would love for you to get it and and let me know your feedback. It's audio book too, if you want to hear the.

00:39:30 Merrily

Yeah, yeah.

00:39:35 Paul

Yeah, audiobooks crash. It was fun, too. It was fun to.

00:39:36 Speaker 3

Perfect.

00:39:38 Speaker 3

Do did you record it with your? Yeah.

00:39:42 Paul

Yeah. Yeah, it was freaking fresh. It was so fresh. Merely, I was like.

00:39:47 Paul

Like hear my voice, I was like, I don't wanna hear it now. Ohh the the the the guy that.

00:39:49 Merrily

I know I.

00:39:50 Speaker 3

Know that's.

00:39:52 Speaker 4

Does this and I was like, that's sounds like that was me. That's so good. That sounds great. I can do this with word. Ohh ship.

00:40:02 Paul

But yeah, it was pretty cool. It was.

00:40:03 Paul

Really cool. Yeah.

00:40:04 Merrily

That's awesome.

00:40:06 Merrily

Thank you. And so I know you have your podcast that's also titled Healthy Man, I'm assuming it's very similar topics, but can you tell us a little bit about that as well?

00:40:18 Paul

Yeah, as a manifesting generation, it generated. This is one of the projects.

00:40:22 Speaker 3

Cool.

00:40:23 Paul

But I I again it's like another like chronicles for my boys and and other men. So I talk. I talk about a lot of things that.

00:40:28

Hmm.

00:40:32 Paul

Like, just like as far as like optimism, but not like optimist like this. What you gotta be. But like what it takes, like the the grittiness, the resiliency to truly and the courageousness to be optimistic. And then like even talking about things like like fathers that are going through parental alienation like.

00:40:52 Paul

Diaries of a deadbeat dad like you know, I just like I talk about topics that are that are, I think, are real and relevant and provide insight for men. And whoever's listening really, to be able to navigate their way through it like I think.

00:40:59 Speaker 3

Yeah.

00:41:07 Paul

It's my main intention with the podcast was to present like men from like men that are doing extraordinary things and and have men be a vessel to share wisdom rather than hold it, you know, like a winner in this mode of or the perception is that men are competitive.

00:41:27 Merrily

Right.

00:41:28 Paul

Reality, like for thousands and thousands of years like men, would go out and hunt together and be in community and.

00:41:35 Merrily

Yeah.

00:41:36 Paul

And love up on each other and man support each other like build each other and stuff and.

00:41:41 Paul

We get away from that like and I think that's by design to have us be competitive. So I've always seen the hill that man podcast, Hilli Man, Chronicles as a way for men to be able to share wisdom, share their wisdom, share their stories, share their insights.

00:41:57 Merrily

Oh, I love it. Yeah, I love that you're building these community.

00:42:00 Merrily

He's that's so great. Yeah.

00:42:04 Paul

And the testing generator.

00:42:05 Speaker 3

That's right. I know you got so much energy and great.

00:42:08 Paul

Yeah.

00:42:10 Speaker 3

Ideas a lot of.

00:42:11 Paul

Yes. Yeah. And act on it, yeah.

00:42:14 Paul

Yes, yes, beautiful.

00:42:17 Merrily

So kind of speaking in in those in that same vein, I know some of the services that you have to help support men and that people is to develop positive masculinity. And I think you kind of shared some of that, but can you?

00:42:33 Merrily

Help us understand what you mean by positive and masculinity.

00:42:38 Paul

Yeah, I'm even going to reframe it respectfully. I'm going to say authentic masculinity.

00:42:45 Merrily

Authentic.

00:42:46 Paul

Yeah, the reason I the reason the reason for the reframe is we're we're me and the organization I work with other but that I founded co-founded Brotherhood Kings.

00:42:59 Speaker 3

Mm-hmm.

00:43:00 Paul

We want to start, we want to take out the negative and positive and begin to see it as polls, rather story or a box.

00:43:09 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:43:12 Merrily

Love it.

00:43:13 Paul

So you know, they like, cause the toxic masculinity has been beat to.

00:43:17 Speaker 4

Yeah.

00:43:19 Paul

Like.

00:43:19 Paul

Yeah, we get it, yeah.

00:43:21 Paul

Yeah, we get it all right. You understand? OK, let's talk tickets, man. OK, then at the same time, it's been about the overly positive, which I think has been in alignment with an agenda to make men more feminine.

00:43:34 Paul

So I think it's like and then this is the thing about about the poles polarity is like.

00:43:43 Paul

Man, a masculinity is the pole, right? It's the line. And it's like there's people are are all along. The thing is to get in the middle.

00:43:47

Mm-hmm.

00:43:51 Paul

And be balanced, right? So.

00:43:53 Paul

We say it's authentic masculinity, it's authentic masculinity. It's about a man determining what being a man is for them.

00:44:04 Paul

Like exploring and learning as a man.

00:44:08 Merrily

Yeah.

00:44:08 Paul

Where does it look like for you to love?

00:44:11 Paul

What does it look like for you to protect?

00:44:12 Paul

And.

00:44:13 Paul

Fight. What does it look like for you?

00:44:15 Paul

To.

00:44:15 Paul

Create. What does it look like for you to be a sovereign, a a ruler of yourself? So it's about really.

00:44:23 Paul

Helping a man to break out-of-the-box to help him become an authentic man and really embody authentic masculinity.

00:44:32 Paul

And I like. I like the fact that we're using more of a masculinity term rather than men because it's going more along with the law of gender and masculinity and femininity. Everyone's got it, you know, like and. And it's energetic. So even though I'm I'm in my physical body, I'm a man. I still get to take on feminine characteristics and traits.

00:44:39 Speaker 3

Yeah.

00:44:42 Merrily

That's right.

00:44:43 Speaker 3

Yep.

00:44:47 Speaker 4

Yeah.

00:44:53 Paul

And energies to support the masculine energies with.

00:44:56 Paul

In me, and that's what being authentic masculinity is. It's free of being like, oh, you acting like a A. What's that not or this or that? No, it's about like, OK, So what does that look?

00:44:57 Merrily

Yeah.

00:45:06 Paul

Like for you.

00:45:08 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:45:09 Paul

You know, and what kind of stereotype? What story are you aligning to and is that really your story?

00:45:14 Merrily

Right.

00:45:15 Paul

Because like a lot of a lot of, masculinity is either told or like the what it is to be a man is is curated by either the family, the culture or media.

00:45:26 Paul

So, like your story of what it is to be a man and be masculine is that your story really?

00:45:26 Merrily

Yes.

00:45:33 Paul

Or is it in one of those 3 categories? It's OK if it is, it's just about being aware.

00:45:38 Speaker 3

Being aware. Yeah, perfect. Yeah.

00:45:41 Paul

Yeah.

00:45:43 Merrily

Yeah, I can't. I couldn't agree more because I do see it as like, you know, we all kind of have the the gender qualities. We're all we all have. Those in US, male and female.

00:45:53 Merrily

And and I'll even speak for myself, like something around sort of understanding my masculine qualities of, like, you know, standing, you know, like standing up for yourself, speaking up, you know, like, you know, really inhabiting who I am and, like, putting that forward, which is was always kind of rough and.

00:46:14 Merrily

Hard for me, but in speaking to some of like even like something as much as you know when speaking with other men that I worked with and how they would just like walk into.

00:46:24 Merrily

The room and like with the with their manager meeting and like you need to pay me more. Like that kind of stuff, you know? And I was like, what blew my minds? Like, you can just do that, you know. And then that's when I was like, yeah, you can't just like, it's not. It's not just them. You can do it too.

00:46:44 Merrily

So yeah.

00:46:45 Paul

Exactly. It's like.

00:46:48 Paul

It's so and and that's such a great example, right, because.

00:46:53 Paul

It's like there's taking the masking and the feminine and making it more right and left brain.

00:47:01 Paul

So, like our left brain, more analytical, right? Like it controls the right side, which is said to.

00:47:06 Paul

Be the masculine.

00:47:07 Paul

So like if I'm going in to be like I want more money, I gotta have a strategy in my head and be analytical. Like what would warrant more money?

00:47:16 Paul

Well, I did this, this, this, this, this, this OK, locked in the barrel. Now you also got to take the right side of the brain, which is.

00:47:24 Paul

Creative. It's intuitive.

00:47:25 Paul

He ruined.

00:47:26 Merrily

Mm-hmm.

00:47:26 Paul

OK. Like, OK, how do I want to say it? What's the home? When do I go? Do I go after lunch when he's in a food coma? Like, do I, you know, like, huh? Right. So now it's like I'm using everything to be able to, like, hey, you know what I've been doing this, this, this, I want to raise. You know what you get one.

00:47:30 Speaker 3

Right.

00:47:46 Paul

Sometimes going in there like give me a raise.

00:47:49 Speaker 3

You're right.

00:47:51 Paul

You're fired that. Come on, man. You better watch yourself. You know what I mean?

00:47:52 Speaker 4

It's.

00:47:54 Merrily

Yeah.

00:47:56 Paul

Yeah. So it's it's all again, it's, it's a mixture and that's again contributes to the authentic masculinity still being assertive rather than aggressive at the same time, like, you know, having a iron fist with the velvet glove.

00:48:05 Merrily

Yeah.

00:48:09 Paul

You know, so it's a very interesting balance.

00:48:11 Merrily

Ohh yeah.

00:48:13 Merrily

Again, beautifully explained. Thank you so, so articulate. And yeah, I like how you applied both. Oh, I was good. Thank you.

00:48:21

Yeah, cool.

00:48:23 Merrily

So I know you kind of mentioned I think you have an event coming up, but do you have any other projects or events that you would like for us to know?

00:48:31 Merrily

About.

00:48:32 Paul

Yes, so, so a couple of like most of my things are most of my programs are offerings are for men. So for men, all the men out there listening to this. So I have a program right now called step into the arena, it's it's really.

00:48:35 Speaker 3

Of course.

00:48:49 Paul

It's there's two phases of it. There's a shorter version which is 7 weeks, and then there's a longer version which is going into 14 weeks and basically it's stepping the self. So it's really looking at and rewiring stories, looking at patterns. It's.

00:49:05 Paul

It's a game. It's a it's a shifter. It's gonna shift people and it's.

00:49:10 Paul

To be I'm I'm always about being transparent and I like I like. I prefer to be transparent about this and ain't for the faint of heart. So it's for people that have started to do the work or have been in therapy. It's not working for you. This is the thing to do. It's time to come to the arena. Also coming out in March online, we're going to be doing something called.

00:49:25 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:49:28

And.

00:49:30 Paul

Full speed master.

00:49:32 Paul

Which is a conscious communication course. This is co-ed. I'm excited for it. It's a course I design called Connect. It's based around nonviolent communication, bringing in spirit. So this is like if people are having difficulty, like expressing yourself, you're in relationship, you're like.

00:49:51 Speaker 4

My girlfriend or boyfriend?

00:49:52 Paul

Just doesn't understand and hear what I'm.

00:49:54 Paul

Saying then this is the course for you, or if you just want to get better with like any negative self talk that you're experience.

00:50:02 Paul

This is a course for you, so that's gonna be out in March. I think the start date is either end of March or beginning of April. So that's coming out. And then we offer online circles for men of color with the Brotherhood of kings. The website is BROT.

00:50:22 Paul

HAHOOD of kings@gmail.com ohh at www.brotherhoodofkings.com. That's it.

00:50:33 Paul

Yeah, I got it. And yeah, so you can go to the website and they can access and then you can also go to my website too www.healthlinemanhealthymanmethod.com. That's where you see all the programs, latest latest installs and and latest programs coming up.

00:50:52 Merrily

Wonderful. Yeah. What great things that you. You well thought out communities for people, places for people to be and express themselves. I love. I love that you put that together.

00:51:04 Paul

Thank you.

00:51:05 Merrily

Yeah.

00:51:06 Paul

It's been it's been good service and I appreciate it. It's good expression for me too, because I got a lot, you know how this I got a lot up in this head man.

00:51:09 Speaker 3

Yes.

00:51:15 Speaker 4

Good.

00:51:16 Paul

Get it out. You know. You know, I don't. I don't imagine how many jails you have. I got, like, I got, like, 3. My my room. I got 7. It's like, oh, my God, I gotta.

00:51:18 Merrily

Do know?

00:51:28 Paul

Write this down.

00:51:29 Merrily

Yes. Oh my goodness, I feel that.

00:51:34 Merrily

Well, yeah. Thanks, Paul. I. Yeah, I look again like people will definitely check out Paul. He's you do live streams all the time. When do you do them? You seem to do them like you do them all the time. They're great.

00:51:45 Paul

Yeah, yeah, I've I'm well, so now I've been working on when it's going to be my schedule. So it's going to be, I know there's gonna be one on Saturday mornings and 1:00 on.

00:51:50 Merrily

OK.

00:51:55 Merrily

Hmm.

00:51:58 Paul

Wednesday evening and then probably on Monday and night as well. So I'm looking to do 3 live streams. It's all part of this course I took called technically speaking. So like this is the integration and it's like really helped me work on my frame thought coordinate my ideas because like, I want to speak like I like speak.

00:52:14 Speaker 3

Hmm.

00:52:15 Paul

And I know I can get paid to speak and plus like.

00:52:18 Merrily

Yeah.

00:52:19 Paul

Even while I get paid or not like I get paid in the energy.

00:52:22 Paul

Because people are like.

00:52:24 Paul

Can you sing?

00:52:24 Merrily

That again like, yeah.

00:52:25 Paul

Man. Yeah. Yeah. OK. Yeah, you got questions.

00:52:30 Paul

I love that. So it's good practice.

00:52:31

Yeah.

00:52:32 Merrily

Yeah, I know.

00:52:33

1.

00:52:33 Merrily

I yeah, yeah, I know. It's so cute because, like, when when you open up, you're like, OK.

00:52:39 Merrily

Get my reps.

00:52:39 Merrily

In.

00:52:40 Paul

Yes.

00:52:42 Paul

Yes. Yep.

00:52:44 Speaker 3

Get the rope.

00:52:46 Merrily

Yeah. So I love it. So committed. Well, thanks, Paul. You're such a delight. So kind of the last thing we leave our lovely audience with are some words of wisdom.

00:52:48 Speaker 3

Yep, yes.

00:53:02 Merrily

Not that you haven't already given us so much, but what kind of words of wisdom would you like?

00:53:07 Merrily

To leave us with today.

00:53:10 Paul

Hmm.

00:53:15 Paul

Ohh man, be curious with yourself.

00:53:19 Merrily

Hmm.

00:53:21 Paul

Be curious.

00:53:22 Paul

When a person goes into the space of curiosity, they're like kid their child like.

00:53:29 Paul

And really, never fearful of anything. They're curious. They want to know more. They wanna get to be kind of go in and see what's up. They never judge. And they're just like, experiencing what the experience is. And I invite people.

00:53:44 Paul

To be curious with yourself, because.

00:53:47 Paul

The only person that's going to save you is you and the greatest gift that you have is you.

00:53:53 Paul

So please, please please take care of yourself. Harness yourself because you doing that uplifts us all. Best believe and blessings to you always. Thank you.

00:54:05 Merrily

Yes, beautiful. Yeah, I love. You know, I never even considered be curious with your own self.

00:54:12 Merrily

That is wonderful.

00:54:14 Paul

Thank you.

00:54:15 Paul

It's been a pleasure. It's been so much fun.
